WRC is proud to announce that Edgewood Heights Administrator Ashley Buzard has been accepted into LeadingAge PA’s Fellows in Leadership Program. Buzard will take part in the one-year program that “equips leaders with actionable strategies and practical knowledge that can be utilized to help solve communities’ real-world challenges.”
“As an administrator of a personal care home, you have to be an effective leader,” says Buzard. “I look forward to gaining new insight into leadership strategies and learning more about trends within the health care industry. I have a few years of experience, but there’s always room for improvement. I want to become a better leader.”
Fellows in Leadership consists of four sessions held throughout the year in different Pennsylvania locations. Topics covered include leadership models, aging service trends, cultural competency, and growth and innovation strategies.
