Cork & Fork 2021/ Butterfly Release

August 14, 2021 4-8 PM

Wine, Brew, Food Walk, and Butterfly Release!

WRC will rejoice and celebrate life with a live butterfly release at Laurelbrooke Landing campus along with our fourth annual Cork and Fork. This annual fundraiser features a diverse wine, brew, shine and food walk experience with the opportunity to release live butterflies in honor or in memory of loved ones. This event will showcase over 12 vendors from across- western and central Pennsylvania- Triple Nickle Distillery, Elk County Wilds Wine and Shine Slushies, Deer Creek Winery, Winery at Wilcox, Wagon Wheel Wines, Two Birch Winery, Fractured Grape Winery, Rich Valley Wines and Smoothies, Logyard Brewing, Chicken Hill Distillery, Bear Creek Wines, MLH Distillery, and more!

Each Cork & Fork guest will be able to sample wine, craft beer, and spirits like moonshine or rum in a commemorative glass which will be provided. Each ticket includes unlimited all-you-can-eat appetizers from The Bistro at Water Run.

You may want to grab your friends, some appetizers from The Bistro at Water Run, and of course your beverage after sampling the vendors to play some WINE-O BINGO. This wine themed bingo will offer a variety of prizes! Tickets for 50/50 and prize baskets (wine, craft beer, spirits, and lottery tickets) will be available for purchase. Take a blind draw at WRC’s wine pull. The wine pull guarantees each participant a bottle of wine. You could walk away with a premium bottle or some low- budget wine!

While WRC will offer fun for all, our mission is rejoice and celebrate life. It’s never easy to loose someone you love, and it’s important to celebrate the life your loved one lived. The butterfly is a symbol of life and transformation, which represents what we do at WRC Senior Services. Many butterflies will take flight as released on cue. This incredible moment is something WRC would love to share with our community! We invite the community to participate in the release of butterflies on Saturday, August 14 at 6:00 PM. Butterflies will be offered at $5 each. There is no purchase necessary for the Cork and Fork event.

Event is rain or shine! Adult audience only, persons under 21 not admitted.
