WRC Senior Services recently welcomed new Chief Financial Officer, or CFO, Eugene J. Miller of Clearfield.
Our new CFO Miller has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 2000 and opened his own accounting practice in Punxsutawney in 2008.
His daughter Lara Miller will continue to operate the practice as he takes on his new role at WRC.
Miller has over 15 years of experience working specifically in healthcare and was previously a licensed nursing home administrator in Florida.
“We are very pleased to welcome Gene to our team at WRC,” said WRC President-CEO Barbara Sepich. “He brings with him a wealth of experience and a long history of performance in accounting and health care.”
In addition to his professional experience, Miller serves as the Secretary for the Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is an ordained deacon in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie.
He is excited to join the WRC leadership team of over 300 employees across a tri-county service area.
“I’ve been familiar with WRC, living in the area,” said Miller. “I’m excited about the challenges presented by this opportunity and look forward to being a part of WRC’s present and future.”
