In Home Solutions home care, home health care and hospice agency recently promoted two staff members to new managerial positions.
RN Roxanne Manson has been promoted to become Director of Professional Services. In this role, Manson will have full clinical oversight over the home health and hospice programs as well as aspects of medical home care.
Manson of Fisher became an RN in 2009 and has been with In Home Solutions since 2011, initially serving as the agency’s first pay-per-visit nurse. She was recognized as “Employee of the Year” at the annual WRC employee awards banquet in 2012.
In 2014, Manson transitioned to become the Home Health Clinical Manager. She has also completed several continuing education certifications within her field, earning certificates in Customer Service Skills Training for Employers/Managers, Clinical Assessment and Chronic Disease Management.
Additionally, Manson obtained a continuing education certificate in the Role of Therapy in Interdisciplinary Management of Chronic Disease in Home Health through the Pennsylvania Homecare Association.
“I am looking forward to building customer relations, developing tools, implementing the necessary actions to enhance agency growth and achieving overall efficiency,” said Manson. “As an agency and individually, we continually educate ourselves in ways to improve quality of care. I am looking forward to this new role but most importantly becoming an integral part of our community and In Home Solutions.”
Manson replaces previous Director of Professional Services Kelly Snell, who served the role for nine years and wished to dedicate more of her focus to caring for patients. She will continue at In Home Solutions as one of the visiting nurses, providing direct care in patient homes.
RN Mary Thomas has been promoted to fill Manson’s previous role as Home Health Clinical Manager, supervising the home health care team.
Thomas began her career in nursing in 1999 as an LPN before becoming an RN in 2004 and working in the Clarion Hospital emergency room for six years. In 2010, she made the transition to the long term care field and has been with In Home Solutions since 2013. She became wound care certified by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy in October 2015.
“I quickly fell in love with my job, my co-workers and my patients here at In Home Solutions. I can’t imagine ever working anywhere else,” said Thomas. “I’m looking forward to my new position as Home Health Clinical Manager and doing my part to ensure that In Home Solutions continues to provide the excellent care our patients expect and deserve.”
Manson and Thomas have both settled into their new roles.
“In Home Solutions and WRC Senior Services are grateful for the years of services Kelly provided us as a director,” said IHS Administrator Christian Camuso. “We are very excited for both Roxanne and Mary to lead our team in providing excellent quality care to our patients.”
