WRC Senior Services recently welcomed Jamie Lefever of New Bethlehem as the new Director of Donor Relations.
Lefever has spent the last five years as the Executive Director of Clarion County’s Economic Development Corporation, where she will continue to consult to help them through the hiring and transition period for a new director.
Prior to that, she worked in the banking industry for 30 years.
Lefever has her insurance license and extensive training in financial planning and trusts.
She also completed the Pennsylvania Rural-Urban Leadership Program in 2011 through Penn State University.
Lefever is very involved in the local community, serving on WRC’s board of directors and Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors in the past.
She is an active member of the Clarion Rotary Club, serving as a past President and serves on the board for Penn State Cooperative Extension.
She joined WRC’s team of over 300 employees that provide healthcare services and housing opportunities in Clarion, Jefferson and Elk Counties on September 6.
“I’m so excited about the opportunity to be a part of an organization that has the passion and reputation of helping our seniors to achieve a high quality of life,” said Lefever.
She is especially excited about WRC’s newest facility in Clarion – Water Run Landing. “I believe Water Run is the best place in Clarion to support our elderly so they can stay in Clarion and continue to be a part of this community,” she said. “It’s such a beautiful campus, and it’s so conveniently located.”
In Lefever’s new role at WRC, she will be working to cultivate and build ongoing relationships with donors to help support WRC’s charitable mission.
WRC is a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organization that relies on donations to support its charitable care fund for individuals who cannot afford the full cost of their care, as well as enhancements at its communities.
Lefever’s office is located at WRC Senior Services new office in Clarion in the Cricklewood Center at 1008 Fifth Avenue, Suite 104. She can be reached at 814-226-4029 or [email protected].
Lefever resides in New Bethlehem with her husband Dennis.
WRC Senior Services has been providing care in the area for 125 years.
