Rehabilitative care
Residents of The Laurels have priority access to McKinley Health Center (link) at Laurelbrooke Landing, which features a highly-skilled rehab department offering long and short-term rehabilitative care as well as outpatient therapy.

• Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy
• Urinary Continence Retraining – noninvasive treatment for bladder problems
• Infrared Light Therapy - for the treatment of wounds, diabetic ulcers, neuropathy/decreased sensation, pain, swelling, inflammation, decreased circulation and fractures. 
• Fall Prevention

Assisted living care
Residents of The Laurels have priority access to Laurelbrooke Assisted Living (link) at Laurelbrooke Landing, where residents enjoy the peace of mind of 24 hour staff support for assistance with personal care, dining services and medications. 

Home care
Residents of The Laurels have access to In Home Solutions PLUS (link)home care services.  Receive professional, quality care in your own home.  Services include housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, companionship and shopping/errands.  Skilled home health care services are also offered, including medication management, skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy. 

In Home Solutions PLUS is also a certified provider for the Pennsylvania Department of Aging Waiver and Options programs.  To find out if you qualify for these home care programs that offer assistance in paying for services, contact your Area Agency on Aging office. 

Care Management
A certified care manager can coordinate home care services and other community referrals for you. 

Memory Support
Residents of The Laurels have priority access to the memory support services (link) of Laurelbrooke Landing.  Residents who have memory loss from disorders like dementia and Alzheimer’s will be provided with the utmost care, independence and security during each phase of the disease.
