Fees
Residents of The Laurels pay an entrance fee and a monthly service fee. The specific amount of each of these fees varies depending on the type and size of accommodations and the number of occupants.
The entrance fee is a one time fee paid when you sign your Residency and Care Agreement. It is the first step toward owning your home and constitutes part of the purchase price. As homeowners, you have access to all common areas, services and amenities of the Laurelbrooke Landing continuing care retirement community.
82% of the entrance fee is refundable. This means that at any time you choose to leave The Laurels, you will be refunded 82% of the entrance fee upon resale of your home. In the event of the death of one or both spouses, the refund is payable to their estate.
The monthly service fee covers a wide range of amenities and services and pays your prorated share of the community's operating expenses.
