A continuing care retirement community is a unique living option for older adults. It offers all levels of care in one location. Residents and their families have peace of mind, knowing they won’t have to move elsewhere if their needs should change. They also are comforted knowing they won’t have to make tough decisions about future care during a health crisis. They already know where they will receive the care they need.
These are the typical levels of care offered at a CCRC:
WRC Senior Services offers two CCRC’s – The Laurels in Brookville and The Villas at Water Run in Clarion. At The Laurels, personal care and memory support are offered at the nearby Laurelbrooke Personal Care. Skilled nursing, memory support and short stay rehab are offered at the adjacent McKinley Health Center.
At The Villas at Water Run, personal care is offered at the nearby Highland Oaks at Water Run. Residents will also have priority access to skilled nursing, memory support and short stay rehab at McKinley Health Center in Brookville, which is about 20 minutes away.
